 There isn’t any method. It is simply madness that I slowly slip my way into. Voices whisper lightly inside of my head. They are my conscience and they are in a constant battle as if I am living inside of a badly made cartoon. Hundreds of words sound off at every moment causing joy, fear, pain, and relief. I have no control over them and no one seems to understand this. They believe treatment with pills or electricity will make them go away or that one day I will just gag them with my own mind before they manage to gag me.

 One album that I couldn’t wait to sit down with once my computer had been fixed was Adam from Emay. I have always been a fan of his work following each new single, remix, and the Seeing Suge project made up of him, Star Slinger and Blackbird Blackbird. After being able to spend some time with his recent debut full length I must say he is simply one of the most important artists in Hip-Hop today. Unafraid to explore a wide range of new ideas while avoiding the many cliches that bog the genre down this album is unlike anything you will hear on the airwaves. Thought provoking lyrics over some of the most creative production work you will hear this year combine to give you the fleshed out debut album that along with artists like Shabazz Palaces could help to change the watered down repetitive state of Hip-Hop as we know it.
